Simms: Smoked Beef Biltong Review

Biltong is a form of dried, cured meat that originated in Southern African countries. Pretty much just sugar free, free of nitrates or preservatives. This is probably one of the driest and weirdest tasting Biltong's I have tried. The smoked flavor is pretty non-existent and just tasted off to me overall. This was a good lesson learned and I don't think I will cheap out on the quality of meat. My personal favorite would have to be biltong baron. Biltong Baron has a variety of flavors and great tasting meat/seasonings.
